Sometimes I don't learn a new lesson while working on a project.
Sometimes I just wanna enjoy what I've made!
That's where Sewcial Seen comes into play...
I guess I must be on a quest to use "sewcial" in as many different blog features as I can.
But hey, at least I'm being consistent.
Anywhoo, here's yesterday's outfit.
This was made as part of my contribution to the Style The Stash 2013 Challenge
, hosted by the lovely Sarah Liz! My goal is to create something with everything in my stash before the end of the year.
Be sure to go see what all the amazing sewists have been doing with their fabric collections!
Though I just talked about how I've made this pattern a gazillion times
(McCall's 2401), this particular dress turned out to be a bit of a challenge. But that was due to the clinginess of the fabric. I gave up and decided to wear the dress as a top, then threw a DIY faux leather skirt on top along with my signature belt (I love
vintage wide belts...they make my figure look more like my logo girl's haha)
The Sewcialite Was Seen Wearing
McCall's Pattern 2401
Fabric via Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Store
J. Crew bracelet
Michael Kors watch
Louis Vuitton purse
Until next time, loves!
