Hubs and I traveled to spend Christmas with my family in Charleston, SC. And I got to meet my beautiful niece for the first time!! Yep, I'm now an aunt! She was born on December 21st, and we're so happy to have her in our lives.
**The Baby Sewcialite clothing line coming soon...whenever I get the hang of this sewing thing**
With all of the holiday excitement, I've haven't had a chance to surf the net like I usually do. But I've missed a few weeks of my posts for The Sewcial Net-WERK, and that's just not right. So, let's go!
I did get an opportunity to check out one of my favorite sewing blogs today, Male Pattern Boldness
(love, love, love the name of Peter's blog). And the first thing I see is this psychedelic robe he made for his mother.

(That's NOT Peter's mother, by the way)
Naturally, The Sewcialite is a sorority girl
, so I'm immediately drawn to all things pink and green. But Peter's such an amazing sewist, and this robe was so well-made. He actually used a plate
to create the pockets--genius.
