Hey loves, it's been a while.
I thought it would be a great idea to get back into the blogging groove on my birthday. I'm the big 3-1 today...is it time to start lying about my age yet?
There were a few things I wanted to accomplish when I turned 30 last year, and learning how to sew was one of them. That's why I thought it was special to renew my sewing spirit today--to show that I'm still committed to my new passion.
For the past few months, my 9-to-5 has taken up a great deal of time. I was the head of a major project for my IT company. For a few weeks, I was working until 4:00 AM...and then waking up at 7:00 AM to do it all again. To say I was drained is an understatement, I tell ya.
I spent most of the month of July enjoying that feeling of doing NOTHING. It was glorious. I didn't want to do anything but vegetate after work.
But now I'm ready to get back to my lover, the sewing machine. There are pretty things to be made!
So consider this my re-introduction. My rebirth on my day of birth.
I'm back, babes! This year is gonna be sweet :-)
