Sewcial Etiquette Lesson #12: Beware of the Sewcrastinator

Because I haven't had time to sew over the past few months, I've been excited to get started again.

The other night, I went through the nearly 100 patterns I've purchased since I began sewing and realized...

Yes, out of the many patterns I already have, I couldn't find anything that I really wanted to make. That means it's time to shop!

But in the meantime, I decided to work on my PHDs (Projects Half Done)--things that I never got around to finishing for whatever reason.

I chose this dress for starters. This was crammed at the bottom of my PHDs, and I can't even remember what pattern I used initially. I was almost done with it, so not much time was required to finish it. What was required, though, was a bit of creativity...because I didn't know what pattern I used, I had no idea what should be done to finish. So I improvised (shout out to Sewcial Etiquette Lesson #3). Side note: Looking at that old post has reminded me of how much weight I've put on since last year...yikes!

Excuse the wrinkles. I literally hopped out of the car while running errands to take these pics.

I knew that if I didn't take them right that moment, it wouldn't happen.

I am The Sewcrastinator...
