Sewcial Seen: Do it for the Vine(yard)

Hey loves...

Since I seem to be spending more time doing everything but sewing lately (I know, shame on me), I've decided to share more aspects of my life with you.

Don't worry, I'm still sewing. But I'm having lots of fun doing other things too.

For example, over the weekend my girlies Nikka Shae, Alicia, and Talesha took a girl's trip to Montaluce Winery & Estates in Dahlonega, GA. Alicia, Nikka, and I visited another vineyard back in May, so I was ecstatic when I learned another trip to the North Georgia mountains was in the works.

Visiting Montaluce made me feel as though I was transported to a beautiful Tuscan village instead of just an hour outside of Atlanta. The girls and I enjoyed brunch, sipped wine, and danced while live music played. And like the #bloggerbabes that we are, we took lots of pics.

Of course, we had an amazing time. I think it's virtually impossible to not be able to enjoy yourself in such a picturesque place.

I mean, look at this tree! We saw it as we were leaving Dahlonega and had to stop to capture its gorgeousness. There were two trees like this in the area, and they were definitely throwing shade (get it?) to all the other nearby trees.

All in all, it was a fabulous time, and I'm already planning my next trip back.

What's your favorite short road trip locale?
